Using q-series expansion/identities, the authors established general congruence modulo prime number for two-colour partition function.
Findings
In the paper, the authors study congruence properties of two-colour partition function for fractional values. The authors also give some particular cases as examples.
Originality/value
The partition functions for fractional value is studied in 2019 by Chan and Wang for Ramanujan's general partition function and then extended by Xia and Zhu in 2020. In 2021, Baruah and Das also proved some congruences related to fractional partition functions previously investigated by Chan and Wang. In this sequel, some congruences are proved for two-colour partitions in this paper. The results presented in the paper are original.

Abstract
Purpose
The purpose of this study is to classify harmonic homomorphisms ϕ : (G, g) → (H, h), where G, H are connected and simply connected three-dimensional unimodular Lie groups and g, h are left-invariant Riemannian metrics.
Design/methodology/approach
This study aims the classification up to conjugation by automorphism of Lie groups of harmonic homomorphism, between twodifferent non-abelian connected and simply connected three-dimensional unimodular Lie groups (G, g) and (H, h), where g and h are two left-invariant Riemannian metrics on G and H, respectively.
Findings
This study managed to classify some homomorphisms between two different non-abelian connected and simply connected three-dimensional uni-modular Lie groups.
Originality/value
The theory of harmonic maps into Lie groups has been extensively studied related homomorphism in compact Lie groups by many mathematicians, harmonic maps into Lie group and harmonics inner automorphisms of compact connected semi-simple Lie groups and intensively study harmonic and biharmonic homomorphisms between Riemannian Lie groups equipped with a left-invariant Riemannian metric.

Abstract
Purpose
The purpose of this study is to investigate the interplay between fiscal dominance and monetary policy in South Africa from 1960 to 2023.
Design/methodology/approach
The study employs a structural vector autoregression (SVAR) medel to analyze the relationship between fiscal dominance and monetary policy. Short-term and long-term shocks of government borrowing and deficits are examined to understand their impact on inflation dynamics.
Findings
Fiscal dominance has a significant effect both in the short and long run. There is evidence that government debt and deficits increase inflation, overriding the effects of monetary policy aimed at maintaining price stability. On the other hand, the study reveals that money supply shocks have a greater effect in reducing fiscal dominance compared to interest rate shocks. The variance movement on inflation is significantly explained by government debt and deficits. This emphasizes the persistence of inflationary pressures associated with fiscal dominance, highlighting the importance of effective policy interventions to mitigate inflationary risks.
Originality/value
This study contributes to the existing literature by providing insights into the dynamics of fiscal dominance in South Africa. Moreover, this study extends the theoretical framework of the fiscal theory of the price level (FTPL) and the government budget constraint. This study contributes valuable insights into the dynamics of fiscal dominance in South Africa and offers guidance for policymakers in formulating strategies to safeguard economic stability.

Abstract
Purpose
The purpose of this study is to develop a novel general mathematical model to find the optimal product mix of commercial graphite products, which has a complex production process with alternative sub-processes in the graphite mining production process.
Design/methodology/approach
The network optimization was adopted to model the complex graphite mining production process through the optimal allocation of raw graphite, byproducts, and saleable products with comparable sub-processes, which has different processing capacities and costs. The model was tested on a selected graphite manufacturing company, and the optimal graphite product mix was determined through the selection of the optimal production process. In addition, sensitivity and scenario analyses were carried out to accommodate uncertainties and to facilitate further managerial decisions.
Findings
The selected graphite mining company mines approximately 400 metric tons of raw graphite per month to produce ten types of graphite products. According to the optimum solution obtained, the company should produce only six graphite products to maximize its total profit. In addition, the study demonstrated how to reveal optimum managerial decisions based on optimum solutions.
Originality/value
This study has made a significant contribution to the graphite manufacturing industry by modeling the complex graphite mining production process with a network optimization technique that has yet to be addressed at this level of detail. The sensitivity and scenario analyses support for further managerial decisions.

The authors prove the existence and uniqueness of fixed point of mappings satisfying Geraghty-type contractions in the setting of preordered modular G-metric spaces. The authors apply the results in solving nonlinear Volterra-Fredholm-type integral equations. The results extend generalize compliment and include several known results as special cases.

Purpose
In this paper, the authors take the first step in the study of constructive methods by using Sobolev polynomials.
Design/methodology/approach
To do that, the authors use the connection formulas between Sobolev polynomials and classical Laguerre polynomials, as well as the well-known Fourier coefficients for these latter.
Findings
Then, the authors compute explicit formulas for the Fourier coefficients of some families of Laguerre–Sobolev type orthogonal polynomials over a finite interval. The authors also describe an oscillatory region in each case as a reasonable choice for approximation purposes.
Originality/value
In order to take the first step in the study of constructive methods by using Sobolev polynomials, this paper deals with Fourier coefficients for certain families of polynomials orthogonal with respect to the Sobolev type inner product. As far as the authors know, this particular problem has not been addressed in the existing literature.

Abstract
Purpose
This paper aims to explore the design of management teams when the critical task facing individual managers is monitoring the performance of worker teams and producing performance measures under uncertain information environments.
Design/methodology/approach
The authors use a multi-agent LEN framework – linear contract, exponential utility and normal density – to model the incentive provision and organizational design.
Findings
The main lesson is that the use of performance measures under uncertainty is greatly affected by the potential for free-riding in the very monitoring activities which generate the measures to begin with. Accordingly, the value of having a management team, that is the incremental benefit of having a second manager, depends on the monitoring technology. Of particular importance are the potential free-riding in monitoring effort among multiple managers and synergies gained from having more than one manager, such as correlation among the performance measures produced or improvement due to splitting workers pool into separate groups for each manager to monitor separately.
Originality/value
The paper pushes this line of research further by explicitly modeling the endogenous process of signal generation within a rich economic environment. In this environment, number of workers being evaluated and number of managers who produce the signals are both endogenous. Furthermore, both workers and managers are subject to moral hazard problem. In particular, the managers suffer from potential free-riding problems but may benefit from synergistic forces due to team monitoring.

Abstract
Purpose
The purpose of this paper is to show that the computation of time-periodic signals for coupled antenna-circuit problems can be substantially accelerated by means of the single shooting method. This allows an efficient analysis of nonlinearly loaded coupled loop antennas for near field communication (NFC) applications.
Design/methodology/approach
For the modelling of electrically small coupled field-circuit problems, the partial element equivalent circuit (PEEC) method shows to be very efficient. For analysing the circuit-like description of the coupled problem, this paper developed a generalised modified nodal analysis (MNA) and applied it to specific NFC problems.
Findings
It is shown that the periodic steady state (PSS) solution of the resulting differential-algebraic system can be computed very time efficiently by the single shooting method. A speedup of roughly 114 to conventional transient approaches can be achieved.
Practical implications
The proposed approach appears to be an efficient alternative for the computation of time PSS solutions for nonlinear circuit problems coupled with discretised conductive structures, where the homogeneous solution is not of interest.
Originality/value
The present paper explores the implementation and application of the shooting method for nonlinearly loaded coupled antenna-circuit problems based on the PEEC method and shows the efficiency of this approach.
