Convenience as regards food is of great importance these days with the hectic pace of life that people follow. The conference on convenience was of great importance to the food industry and their marketers.<!?tpb=15pt>
The day gave clear information on:

criteria for successful future products.
Speakers from the USA, Canada and the UK gave ground breaking presentations on all aspects of the convenience food industry with information on their own experience.
Speakers included: J. Banks from ACNielsen on building creative solutions for convenience channels; H. Drummer from GlaxoSmithKline on category insights and convenience shopper missions; S. Gonthier from Couche Tard on the rise and rise of Canada and the USA's new convenience kings; B. Jenkins from 7-Eleven on the international language of convenience; J. Mc Carthy from Sainsbury's on succeeding in a competitive market; C. Clarke from the Co-op on creating a point of difference for the brand; and S. Petts from Kraft on new sales strategies that work.
Three panel discussions which included additional panel members, who were key players from the food industry complemented this innovative day. A CD of the presentations was made available to those attending the day.
