Abstract
Purpose
The purpose of this paper is to investigate the three-dimensional flow of viscous fluid with convective boundary conditions and heat generation/absorption.
Design/methodology/approach
The governing partial differential equations are reduced into ordinary differential equations by applying similarity transformations. Series solutions of velocity and temperature are found by adopting homotopy analysis method (HAM).
Findings
The authors found that an increase in ratio parameter and Hartman number increased the values of skin-friction coefficient, but the values of local Nusselt number are reduced with an increase in Hartman number.
Practical implications
The present study is a useful source of information for the investigators in the fields of Newtonian fluids and heat transfer. The results obtained are specifically important in processes of polymer industry and metallurgical.
Originality/value
Very scarce literature is available on three-dimensional stretched flow with convective boundary conditions. Mathematical modelling for such flow in regime of magnetohydrodynamics is a main concern here. Performed computations to the resulting nonlinear analysis further enhance its novelty.

Abstract
Purpose
This paper aims to focus on the natural convective flow analysis of micropolar nanofluid fluid in a rectangular vertical container. A heated source is placed in the lower wall to generate the internal flow. In further assumptions, the left/right wall are kept cool, while the upper and lower remaining portions are insulated. Free convection prevails in the regime because of thermal difference in-between the lower warmer and upper colder region.
Design/methodology/approach
The physical setup owns mathematical framework in-terms of non-linear partial differential equations. For the solution purpose of the differential system, finite volume method is adopted. The interesting features of the flow along with thermal transportation involve both translational and rotational movement of fluid particles.
Findings
Performing the simulations towards flow controlling variables the outputs are put together in contour maps and line graphs. It is indicated that the variations in flow profile mass concentration and temperature field augments at higher Rayleigh parameter because of stronger buoyancy effects. Higher viscosity coefficient implies decrease in flow and thermal transportation. Further, the average heat transfer rate also grows by increasing both the Rayleigh parameter and heated source length.
Originality/value
To the best of the authors’ knowledge, no such study has been addressed yet. Further, the results are validated by comparing with previously published work.

Abstract
Purpose
The main purpose of this study is to investigate the natural convection of micropolar fluid in a square cavity with two orthogonal heaters placed inside. The study of natural convection in a two-dimensional enclosure determines the effect of non-uniform heated plate on certain micropolar fluid flows which are found in many engineering applications. Therefore, because of its practical interest in the engineering fields such as building design, cooling of electronic components, melting and solidification process, solar energy systems, solar collectors, liquid crystals, animal blood, colloidal fluids and polymeric fluids, the topic needs to be further explored.
Design/methodology/approach
The dimensionless governing equations have been solved by finite volume method of the second-order central difference and upwind scheme.
Findings
The effects of the Rayleigh number, nonuniformity parameter and vortex viscosity parameter on fluid flow and heat transfer have been analyzed. The rate of heat transfer increases with an increase in the aspect ratio of the heated plates for all the values of Rayleigh number and vortex viscosity parameter. The heat transfer rate is reduced with an increase in the vortex viscosity parameter. It is predicted that the non-uniform of the baffle gives better heat transfer than uniform heating.
Originality/value
The present numerical results were tested against the experimental work. The present results have an excellent agreement with the results obtained by the previous experimental work.

Abstract
Purpose
This paper aims to address the issues of Asian countries toward why females are discouraged and more likely to be removed from the formal financial system than males. Further, whether there is any connection between religion and women’s financial inclusion is also addressed.
Design/methodology/approach
This paper explores gender disparities in the use of structured financial services through multilevel models tailored to the individual. The data from 2004 to 2017 have been used for eight South Asian countries, including Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, Maldives, Nepal and Bhutan. We used a multilevel modeling methodology to estimate the impact of the socio-economic climate on women’s financial inclusion while controlling for individual-level features, with all control variables included, the two-level logistic regression model used for this study.
Findings
The results of this study demonstrate that sex appears to be strongly correlated with the usage of financial services. The study also found that in nations where religious restrictions limit women’s willingness to work for a living, they are less likely than males to own a bank account. However, through legislation and regulations, countries that encourage gender equality in the labor market and have effective regulatory mechanisms to maintain these initiatives appear to have more financially active women.
Practical implications
This research advises that government authorities strengthen women’s empowerment in South Asian countries.
Originality/value
To the best of the authors’ knowledge, this is the first paper that explains the linkage between financial inclusion and women empowerment and will contribute to existing knowledge.

Abstract
Purpose
The purpose of this paper is to numerically study thermo‐magnetic convection and heat transfer of paramagnetic fluid placed in a micro‐gravity condition (g≈0) and under a uniform vertical gradient magnetic field in an open square cavity with three cold sidewalls.
Design/methodology/approach
This magnetic force is proportional to the magnetic susceptibility and the gradient of the square of the magnetic induction. The magnetic susceptibility is inversely proportional to the absolute temperature based on Curie's law. Thermal convection of a paramagnetic fluid can therefore take place even in a zero‐gravity environment as a direct consequence of temperature differences occurring within the fluid due to a constant internal heat generation placed within a magnetic field gradient.
Findings
Effects of magnetic Rayleigh number, γRa, Prandtl number, Pr, and paramagnetic fluid parameter, m, on the flow pattern and isotherms as well as on the heat absorption are presented graphically. It is found that the heat transfer rate is suppressed in increased of the magnetic Rayleigh number and the paramagnetic fluid parameter for the present investigation.
Originality/value
It is possible to control the buoyancy force by using the super conducting magnet. To the best knowledge of the author no literature related to magnetic convection for this configuration is available.

Abstract
Purpose
The purpose of this study is to numerically study the heat transfer of free convection of a magnetizable micropolar nanofluid inside a semicircular enclosure.
Design/methodology/approach
The flow domain is under simultaneous influences of two non-uniform magnetic fields generated by current carrying wires. The directions of the currents are the same. Although the geometry is symmetric, it is physically asymmetric. The impacts of key parameters, including Rayleigh number Ra = 103-106, Hartman number Ha = 0-50, vortex viscosity parameter Δ = 0-4, nanoparticles volume fraction φ = 0-0.04 and magnetic number Mnf = 0-1000, on the macro- and micro-scales flows, temperature and heat transfer rate are studied.
Finding
The outcomes show that dispersing of the nanoparticles in the host fluid increases the strength of macro- and micro-scale flows. When Mnf = 0, the increment of the vortex viscosity parameter increases the strength of the particles micro-rotations, while this characteristic is decreased by growing Δ for Mnf ≠ 0. The increment of Δ and Ha decreases the rate of heat transfer. The increment of Ha decreases the enhancement percentage of heat transfer rate because of dispersing nanoparticles, known as En parameter. In addition, the value of Δ has no effect on En. Moreover, the average Nusselt number Nuavg and En remain constant by increasing the magnetic number Mnf for different volume fraction values.
Originality/value
The authors believe that all of the results, both numerical and asymptotic, are original and have not been published elsewhere yet.

Abstract
Purpose
This paper investigates the moderated mediation roles of dynamic capabilities and self-initiated AI learning between job crafting and entrepreneurial innovativeness among owner-managers of family craft businesses in Ghana.
Design/methodology/approach
A convenience sampling technique was used in the selection of 498 family craft business owner-managers in Ghana. The paper deployed regression analysis to examine the hypothesized paths.
Findings
Using hierarchical regression, job crafting was found to have a positive effect on entrepreneurs’ innovativeness. Further, dynamic capabilities moderate the mediated link between self-initiated AI learning and entrepreneurial innovativeness.
Research limitations/implications
The current study assesses self-initiated learning for work adjustment from a cross-sectional design perspective. Though, this research design is effective in the assessment of opinions and attitudes of persons, it is limited in its capacity to reflect changing opinions and attitudes overtime. This study recommends future studies to conduct a longitudinal survey on the phenomenon.
Originality/value
This study is one of the first to deploy AI affordances to extend empirical literature on the novel SIWAL concept for work adjustment among craft family business owner-managers in Africa.

Abstract
Purpose
The purpose of this study, thermal radiation and viscous dissipation impacts on double diffusive convection on peristaltic transport of Williamson nanofluid due to induced magnetic field in a tapered channel is examined. The study of propulsion system is on the rise in aerospace research. In spacecraft technology, the propulsion system uses high-temperature heat transmission governed through thermal radiation process. This study will help in assessment of chyme movement in the gastrointestinal tract and also in regulating the intensity of magnetic field of the blood flow during surgery.
Design/methodology/approach
The brief mathematical modelling, along with induced magnetic field, of Williamson nanofluid is given. The governing equations are reduced to dimensionless form by using appropriate transformations. Numerical technique is manipulated to solve the highly nonlinear differential equations. The roll of different variables is graphically analyzed in terms of concentration, temperature, volume fraction of nanoparticles, axial-induced magnetic field, magnetic force function, stream functions, pressure rise and pressure gradient.
Findings
The key finding from the analysis above can be summed up as follows: the temperature profile decreases and concentration profile increases due to the rising impact of thermal radiation. Brownian motion parameter has a reducing influence on nanoparticle concentration due to massive transfer of nanoparticles from a hot zone to a cool region, which causes a decrease in concentration profile· The pressure rise enhances due to rising values of thermophoresis and thermal Grashof number in retrograde pumping, free pumping and copumping region.
Originality/value
To the best of the authors’ knowledge, a study that integrates double-diffusion convection with thermal radiation, viscous dissipation and induced magnetic field on peristaltic flow of Williamson nanofluid with a channel that is asymmetric has not been carried out so far.

Abstract
Purpose
This paper aims to answer the question of how, why and when abusive supervision affects employee creativity. Drawing on the conservation of resources theory, this paper examines the direct and indirect (via psychological distress) effects of abusive supervision on employee creativity. It further investigates the boundary conditions imposed by employees’ perceived distributive and procedural justice in the relationships between abusive supervision, psychological distress and employee creativity.
Design/methodology/approach
The study uses multi-sourced and time-lagged data collected in three waves from a survey of employees-supervisor dyads working in the Chinese manufacturing sector. In the first wave, the authors received data from 347 employees on perceived abusive supervision and perceived distributive and procedural justice. In the second wave, 320 employees shared their perceptions of psychological distress at work. In the third wave, the authors received ratings for employee creativity from the direct supervisors of 300 employees. The data were analyzed using bootstrapped moderated mediation procedures.
Findings
The findings revealed a significant negative influence of abusive supervision on employee creativity both directly and indirectly in the presence of perceived psychological distress. However, distributive and procedural justice was found to mitigate the negative impact of abusive supervision on employee creativity.
Practical implications
Abusive supervision has adverse consequences for employees’ creativity because it affects their psychological health. HR and top management should prioritize addressing abusive supervision first and foremost to boost employee creativity in the workplace. Managers should give employees opportunities for participation and foster a climate of fairness in the organization to mitigate the harmful consequences of abusive supervision.
Originality/value
To the best of the authors’ knowledge, this is the first empirical study that examines the psychological distress-based mechanism in the relationship between abusive supervision and creativity while considering the interactive effects of distributive and procedural justice. It addresses an important research gap in the literature by proposing that organizational perceived distributive and procedural justice can mitigate the detrimental effects of abusive supervision.

Abstract
Purpose
Entrepreneurship represents a complex decision-making process capable of influencing the conditions of a socio-economic system. For this reason, stimulating entrepreneurship is a topic that has always fascinated scholars and attracted the attention of public policy makers. This study, from the perspective of the theory of planned behaviour (TPB), aims to contribute to the analysis of entrepreneurial intention (EI) in university students. Factors such as entrepreneurship education (EE), mediation of personal attitude (PA), perceived behavioural control (PBC), EI, regulatory support (RS) and opportunity recognition (OR) for university students.
Design/methodology/approach
Research data was collected using a questionnaire, and a cross-sectional sample was selected from senior business and engineering students who are most likely to participate in entrepreneurial activities. The survey was conducted in the Delhi NCR region. 240 students were interviewed. Partial least square structural equation modelling using SmartPLS-4 was used to test the explanatory and predictive power of the proposed model.
Findings
The results of this study offer interesting contributions to the academic debate. First, EE has a significant impact on PA, PBC and entrepreneurial intentionality. Second, PBC, recognition of opportunities and EI have a significant impact on entrepreneurial education. Finally, PA and PBC significantly mediate the “entrepreneurial education – entrepreneurial intention” relationship.
Originality/value
Interesting elements of originality are offered by this study. First, entrepreneurship is studied as a decision-making process influenced by intentions and not behaviours. Second, the authors limited the efforts to unraveling the effect of the five variables on the formation of EI. Finally, the large size of the sample allows the authors to obtain significant results, directing future studies to other territorial contexts. Additionally, incorporating some control variables, such as gender and family background, would explore the relationship between the model variables more meaningfully.
