Abstract
Purpose
Information is presented in various modalities such as text and images, and it can quickly and widely spread on social networks and among the general public through key communication nodes involved in public opinion events. Therefore, by tracking and identifying key nodes of public opinion, we can determine the direction of public opinion evolution and timely and effectively control public opinion events or curb the spread of false information.
Design/methodology/approach
This paper introduces a novel multimodal semantic enhanced representation based on multianchor mapping semantic community (MAMSC) for identifying key nodes in public opinion. MAMSC consists of four core components: multimodal data feature extraction module, feature vector dimensionality reduction module, semantic enhanced representation module and semantic community (SC) recognition module. On this basis, we combine the method of community discovery in complex networks to analyze the aggregation characteristics of different semantic anchors and construct a three-layer network module for public opinion node recognition in the SC with strong, medium and weak associations.
Findings
The experimental results show that compared with its variants and the baseline models, the MAMSC model has better recognition accuracy. This study also provides more systematic, forward-looking and scientific decision-making support for controlling public opinion and curbing the spread of false information.
Originality/value
We creatively combine the construction of variant autoencoder with multianchor mapping to enhance semantic representation and construct a three-layer network module for public opinion node recognition in the SC with strong, medium and weak associations. On this basis, our constructed MAMSC model achieved the best results compared to the baseline models and ablation evaluation models, with a precision of 91.21%.

Abstract
Purpose
The primary objective of this investigation was to explore how employees’ utilization of social media for work-related purposes impacts their service innovation behavior, both directly and through the intermediary mechanisms of knowledge management and employees’ risk-taking.
Design/methodology/approach
In developing its conceptual framework, this study has drawn upon the stimulus-organism-response (SOR) theory. To test its hypotheses, this study has surveyed 241 financial analysts from ten Iranian financial companies and has employed variance-based structural equation modeling (specifically, PLS-SEM) with the assistance of “WarpPLS 8.0 software.”
Findings
The findings revealed that employees’ work-related use of social media positively influences their service innovation behavior using knowledge management, encompassing knowledge sharing and acquisition capability as well as employee risk-taking. However, this influence is not directly significant.
Originality/value
To the best of our knowledge, this study marks the first instance in which the effect of work-related use of social media on employee service innovation behavior directly and through the mediating roles of knowledge management and risk-taking has been investigated through the lens of the SOR paradigm, especially in the financial sector.

Abstract
Purpose
This study aims to provide a comprehensive analysis of two-sided matching (TSM) research, an interdisciplinary field that integrates both theoretical and practical perspectives. By examining 756 research articles from the Web of Science database, this paper seeks to identify key trends, collaboration patterns and emerging research topics within the TSM domain.
Design/methodology/approach
The research utilizes bibliometric analysis combined with a structural topic model to analyze TSM-related articles published between January 1, 2000, and September 30, 2022. The study identifies leading subfields, journals, countries/regions and institutions based on publication volume, total citations and average citations per article. Interaction and collaboration patterns among these entities are examined through co-occurrence and coupling networks. Additionally, five major research topics are identified and explored using topic modeling and co-word networks. This hybrid knowledge mining approach better reveals the inherent structural changes in topic clusters. Topic distribution and network analysis are beneficial in capturing the attention allocation of different entities to knowledge.
Findings
The analysis reveals five prominent research topics in TSM: communication resource allocation, stable matching research, computing task assignment, TSM decision-making and market matching mechanism design. These topics represent the main directions of TSM research. The study also uncovers a shift in research focus from theoretical aspects to practical applications. Furthermore, the distribution of knowledge and interaction patterns among key entities align with the identified research trends.
Originality/value
This study offers a novel and detailed overview of TSM research highlighting significant trends and collaboration patterns within the field. By integrating bibliometric methods with structural topic modeling the study provides unique insights into the evolution of TSM research making it a valuable resource for both academic and professional communities.

Abstract
Purpose
The purpose of this paper is to establish a maturity evaluation model for the application of construction steel structure welding robotics suitable for the actual situation and specific characteristics of engineering projects in China and then to assess the maturity level of the technology in the application of domestic engineering projects more scientifically.
Design/methodology/approach
The research follows a qualitative and quantitative analysis method. In the first stage, the structure of the maturity model is constructed and the evaluation index system is designed by using the ideas of the capability maturity model and WSR methodology for reference. In the second stage, the design of the evaluation process and the selection of evaluation methods (analytic hierarchy process method, multi-level gray comprehensive evaluation method). In the third stage, the data are collected and organized (preparation of questionnaires, distribution of questionnaires, questionnaire collection). In the fourth stage, the established maturity evaluation model is used to analyze the data.
Findings
The evaluation model established by using multi-level gray theory can effectively transform various complex indicators into an intuitive maturity level or score status. The conclusion shows that the application maturity of building steel structure welding robot technology in this project is at the development level as a whole. The maturity levels of “WuLi – ShiLi – RenLi” are respectively: development level, development level, between starting level and development level. Comparison of maturity evaluation values of five important factors (from high to low): environmental factors, technical factors, management factors, benefit factors, personnel and group factors.
Originality/value
In this paper, based on the existing research related to construction steel structure welding robot technology, a quantitative and holistic evaluation of the application of construction steel structure welding robot technology in domestic engineering projects is conducted for the first time from a project perspective by designing a maturity evaluation index system and establishing a maturity evaluation model. This research will help the project team to evaluate the application level (maturity) of the welding robot in the actual project, identify the shortcomings and defects of the application of this technology, then improve the weak links pertinently, and finally realize the gradual improvement of the overall application level of welding robot technology for building steel structure.

Purpose
The significance of business processes has fostered a close collaboration between academia and industry. Moreover, the business landscape has witnessed continuous transformation, closely intertwined with technological advancements. Our main goal is to offer researchers and process analysts insights into the latest developments concerning artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) to optimize their processes in an organization and identify research gaps and future directions in the field.
Design/methodology/approach
In this study, we perform a systematic review of academic literature to investigate the integration of AI/ML in business process management (BPM). We categorize the literature according to the BPM life-cycle and employ bibliometric and objective-oriented methodology to analyze related papers.
Findings
In business process management and process map, AI/ML has made significant improvements using operational data on process metrics. These developments involve two distinct stages: (1) process enhancement, which emphasizes analyzing process information and adding descriptions to process models and (2) process improvement, which focuses on redesigning processes based on insights derived from analysis.
Research limitations/implications
While this review paper serves to provide an overview of different approaches for addressing process-related challenges, it does not delve deeply into the intricacies of fine-grained technical details of each method. This work focuses on recent papers conducted between 2010 and 2024.
Originality/value
This work addresses a significant gap by employing a pioneering approach to introduce challenges in BPM alongside AI/ML techniques and integrated tools. Hence, it offers comprehensive guidelines that elucidate the alignment between ML methods and solutions to current challenges across the BPM life-cycle, including process enhancement and process improvement. Additionally, by detailing various aspects of the life-cycle phases and highlighting ML technique characteristics, this research demonstrates potential approaches for future exploration, thereby enhancing applicability for both process analysts and researchers in this context.

Abstract
Purpose
The world is reeling from the effects of climate change with increased extreme precipitation. Flooding is amongst the most recurring and devastating natural hazards, impacting human lives and causing severe economic damage. This paper aims to conduct a systematic review to critically analyse the most reported and emerging flood disaster resilience indicators.
Design/methodology/approach
A total of 35 papers were selected through a systematic process using both Web of Science and Scopus databases. The selected literature was subjected to a thorough thematic content analysis.
Findings
From the review, 77 emerging flood disaster resilience assessment indicators were identified. Furthermore, based on the individual meanings and relationships of the derived indicators, they were further categorized into six groups, namely, physical, institutional, social, psychological, ecology and economic. More also, it was identified that most of the selected publications have used objective resilience measurement approaches as opposed to subjective resilience measurement approaches.
Originality/value
The generated list of flood disaster resilience indicators will provide insights into the capacities which can be improved to enhance the overall resilience to flood disasters in communities.

Abstract
Purpose
The present study scrutinizes the relative performance of various near-wall treatments coupled with two-equation RANS models to explore the turbulence transport mechanism in terms of the kinetic energy budget in a plane wall jet and the significance of the near-wall molecular and turbulent shear, to select the best combination among the models which reveals wall jet characteristics most efficiently.
Design/methodology/approach
A two-dimensional steady incompressible plane wall jet in a quiescent surrounding is simulated using ANSYS-Fluent solver. Three near-wall treatments, namely the Standard Wall Function (SWF), Enhanced Wall Treatment (EWT) and Menter-Lechner (ML) treatment coupled with Realisable, RNG and Standard k-e models and also the Standard and Shear-Stress Transport (SST) k-ω models are employed for this investigation.
Findings
The ML treatment slightly overestimated the budget components on an outer scale, whereas the k-ω models strikingly underestimated them. In the buffer layer at the inner scale, the SWF highly over-predicts turbulent production and dissipation and k-ω models over-predict dissipation. Appreciably accurate inner and outer scale k-budgets are observed with the EWT schemes. With a sufficiently resolved near-wall mesh, the Realisable model with EWT exhibits the mean flow, turbulence characteristics and turbulence energy transport even better than the SST k-ω model.
Originality/value
Three distinct near-wall strategies are chosen for comparative performance analysis, focusing not only on the mean flow and turbulence characteristics but the turbulence energy budget as well, for finding the best combination, having potential as a viable and low-cost alternative to LES and DNS for wall jet simulation in industrial application.

The aerodynamic load caused by high-speed train operation may lead to severe vibration of the pedestrian bridge, thus causing great safety hazards. Therefore, this study aims to investigate the aerodynamic loading characteristics of a pedestrian bridge when a high-speed train passes over the bridge, as well as to evaluate the vibration response of the aerodynamic loads on the bridge structure.
Design/methodology/approach
High-speed trains are operated at three different speeds. The aerodynamic pressure load characteristics of high-speed trains crossing a pedestrian bridge are investigated by combining a nonconstant numerical simulation method with a dynamic modeling test method, and the vibration response of the bridge is analyzed.
Findings
The results show that when a high-speed train passes through the pedestrian bridge, the pedestrian bridge interferes with the attenuation of the pressure around the train, so that the pressure spreads along the bridge bottom, and the maximum positive and negative pressure peaks appear in the center area of the bridge bottom, while the pressure fluctuations in the bridge entrance and exit areas are smaller and change more slowly, and the pressure attenuation of the bridge bottom perpendicular to the direction of the train’s operation is faster. In addition, the pressure fluctuation generated by the high-speed train will lead to a larger vertical response of the bridge structure in the mid-span position, and the main vibration frequency of the bridge structure ranges from 8 to 10 Hz, and the maximum value of the vertical deformation amplitude is located in the mid-span region of the bridge.
Originality/value
This paper analyzes the flow field distribution around the train and at the bottom of the bridge for the evolution of the flow field when the train passes through the bridge at high speed, and conducts a finite element dynamic analysis of the bridge structure to calculate the vibration response of the bridge when the train passes through at high speed, and to evaluate the comfort of the passengers passing through the high-speed railroad bridge.

Abstract
Purpose
The purpose of the paper is to investigate the association between corporate social responsibility (CSR) and investment efficiency (INE) in Bangladeshi pharmaceutical companies and to explore the moderating role of corporate reputation in this relationship.
Design/methodology/approach
The paper employs a two-step method, with stage 1 involving the development of a theoretical model using the literature's strategic framework and stage 2 using structural equation modelling (SEM) to investigate the relationships between variables. The data set used in the analysis includes 296 responses from senior executives/managers and subordinates at Bangladeshi pharmaceutical firms.
Findings
The study finds that CSR activities that focus on customers, employees and the community significantly affect INE, as well as the extended stakeholders, and that company reputation moderates this relationship. The effect of CSR on INE differs between well-established companies and business firms with favourable reputations.
Practical implications
The paper contributes to understanding the relationship between CSR and INE in a developing country context and highlights the importance of corporate reputation in this relationship. The findings suggest that companies can enhance their INE through CSR initiatives and that a positive reputation can strengthen this relationship further.
Originality/value
The study adds to the limited literature on CSR and INE in developing countries and provides new insights into the moderating role of corporate reputation in this relationship.

Abstract
Purpose
With the increasing use of robots in service scenarios in hospitality industries, service failure frequently occurs during the service process, and consumers may react differently toward humanoid vs. nonhumanoid robots due to different performance expectancies. This study focuses on consumers' reactions to service failures by humanoid vs. nonhumanoid robots and the different impacts on brand forgiveness and revisit intentions through performance expectancy for different genders.
Design/methodology/approach
The study used a sample of 280 participants to test the moderated chain mediation model. The participants were instructed to report their performance expectancies for humanoid/nonhumanoid robots and imagine a hotel check-in scenario in which a service failure occurs. Brand forgiveness, brand revisit intention and other demographic information were assessed.
Findings
The results show that consumers have higher performance expectancy for nonhumanoid robots. This performance expectancy generates brand forgiveness and revisit intentions for male consumers but does not affect female consumers' forgiveness and revisit behaviors.
Originality/value
This study contributes to the literature by taking a long-term perspective to investigate the outcomes after service failure, providing evidence for pending questions in previous studies and enriching studies of gender differences. Additionally, this study provides practical implications to consider the use of anthropomorphism in robots, advocate for functional confidence in robots and target consumers across genders.
