Abstract
Purpose
The primary purpose of this study is to examine the factors leading to shopping cart abandonment and construct a model depicting interrelationship among them using interpretive structural modeling (ISM) and Matriced Impact Croises Multiplication Appliquee an un Classement (MICMAC).
Design/methodology/approach
Initially, 20 factors leading to shopping cart abandonment were extracted through a systematic literature review and expert opinions. Fifteen factors were finalized using the importance index and CIMTC method, for which consistency has been checked in SPSS software through a statistical reliability test. Finally, ISM and MICMAC approach is used to develop a model depicting the contextual relationship among finalized factors of shopping cart abandonment.
Findings
The ISM model depicts a technical glitch (SC8), cash on delivery not available (SC4), bad checkout interface (SC9), just browsing (SC11), and lack of physical examination (SC12) are drivers or independent factors. Additionally, four quadrants have been formulated in MICMAC analysis based on their dependency and driving power. This facilitates technical managers of e-commerce companies to focus more on factors leading to shopping cart abandonment according to their dependency and driving power.
Research limitations/implications
Taking an expert’s opinion as a base may affect the results of the study due to biases based on subjectivity.
Practical implications
This study’s outcomes would accommodate practitioners, researchers, and multinational or national companies to indulge in e-commerce to anticipate factors restricting the general public from online shopping.
Originality/value
For the successful running of an e-commerce business and to retain the confidence of e-shoppers, every e-commerce company must make a strategy for controlling factors leading to shopping cart abandonment at the initial stage. So, this paper attempts to highlight the main factors leading to shopping cart abandonment and interrelate them using ISM and MICMAC approaches. It provides a clear path to technical heads, researchers, and consultants for handling these shopping cart abandonment factors.

Abstract
Purpose: Focusing on Sri Lanka’s banking industry, our study examines the effect of corporate social responsibility (CSR) on organisational competitive performance (OCP) with the moderating role of organisational culture.
Methodology: We conducted a quantitative research study utilising a survey as the research strategy. A standardised, self-administered questionnaire on a 5-point Likert scale was given to 281 banking industry experts who participated in the study.
Findings: The study found a substantial moderating impact of organisational culture on the relationship between corporate social responsibility and organisational competitive performance. Notably, the study found that responsibility to employees, responsibility to suppliers or business partners, and responsibility to government and regulatory authorities have a positive influence on organizational competitive performance. Nevertheless, our research suggests that in the Sri Lankan context, there is no substantial influence of responsibilities towards customers, shareholders, community, and the environment on the competitive performance of organisations.
Implications of the study: This study’s ramifications cover immediate and long-term scenarios. The findings will be helpful for managers in the banking industry, shareholders, and other stakeholders, providing insights into the advantages of implementing CSR principles.
Originality: This study backs the literature by investigating the moderating role of culture on the association between CSR and performance, as the first study to investigate the same in Sri Lanka, to the best of the knowledge.

Abstract
Purpose: This study aims to explore the efforts of several Asian countries adopting blockchain-enabled letter of credit (LC) processes and highlight the key challenges hindering blockchain adoption into the entire LC system.
Need for the study: As trade volume among countries grows, nations should agree on the technology’s application mechanism to prevent disputes over discrete practices. As blockchain is a borderless approach, the global context of the applications should be considered, incorporating the cases of Asia, the hub of intraregional collaboration in trading.
Methodology: This chapter has surveyed the existing literature to identify the dichotomy between blockchain-enabled LC and traditional LC. Ten Asian countries were selected considering their adaptation motivations, number of use cases, and economic outlook. The case-study method was applied to compare the counties.
Findings: Countries reported blockchain-enabled LC as time-efficient, less costly, and secure. Interoperability, scalability, the absence of legal and administrative infrastructure, stress for new skills, and cyber security concerns are the most cited challenges among users. Instances of regulatory sandbox and collaborative effort were found among some countries, although some countries have yet to publish application guidelines.
Practical implication: The study provides comparative pictures of blockchain-enabled LC systems adopted by several Asian countries. This will contribute to future collaboration between Asian countries to create a unified and standardised trade financing platform. The study will also contribute to the future formulation of guidelines for administrative methodologies of the permissioned blockchain application in the trade finance section.
