IPC has introduced the new volunteers comprising its IPC SMEMA Council's APEX® 2003 Trade Show Subcommittee and Technical Program Committee.

Alec J. Babiarz, Asymtek; Sebastian Schmidt, ERSA; and Gerald C. Bird, 3M, have been added to this year's Trade Show Subcommittee. Richard Heimsch, DEK, will replace Steve DeCollibus, Cookson Electronics, as Chairman of this committee, which is responsible for determining the rules and regulations of the exhibition and overseeing the production of the event, ensuring a cost-effective and fair forum for user/supplier dialogue.

The new volunteers on the APEX 2003 Technical Program Committee include:

  • Russ Nowland, Lucent Technologies

  • Adam Brown, Universal Instruments Corp.

  • Kim Hyland, Solectron Corp.

  • Sammy Yi, Flextronics International

  • James Benson, Agilent Technologies

The Technical Program Committee will select and organize the papers that will be presented at the APEX Technical Conference. Dr. Greg Munie, Kester Solder, will oversee this committee.
