Paint industry suppliers reaffirm their confidence in the sector and prepare for ABRAFATI 2005

Participation in the Ninth International Paint Industry Suppliers Exhibition and the Ninth International Paint Congress, ABRAFATI 2005, is stimulating the sector. Worldwide enrollment has begun for paper presentations, and more than 100 exhibitors have already confirmed their participation in the event, which takes place 14-16 September 2005, at ITM-Expo, Sao Paulo, Brazil.
“The launch of ABRAFATI 2005 shows that the ABRAFATI Exhibition and Congress leverages and unifies the paint productive chain”, said Dilson Ferreira, executive president of ABRAFATI, the Brazilian Association of Paint Manufacturers. Practically all the main suppliers of the paint industry have confirmed their presence at the event, guaranteeing the opportunity to exhibit their products and services to domestic and foreign paint industry professionals, opinion leaders, academics, government representatives and the general public. The environment is conducive towards doing business and exchanging information and technology.
“With eight months to go before the event, we have more than 100 exhibitors confirmed, occupying almost the entire 19,000 square meters of the pavilion. This is an unequivocal demonstration of suppliers' confidence in the future of the sector in Brazil”, said Ferreira.
ABRAFATI has signed an agreement with FEICA and SATER to provide speakers at congresses hosted by their organizations. Federation of Societies for Coatings Technology (FSCT) organizes the well-known American Paint Show (ICE) with great success. SATER (Sociedad Argentina de Tecnologos em Recubrimientos) and ABRAFATI have been strengthening their relationship over a long period of time.
Technicians, professors, researchers and other professionals interested in presenting papers at the International Paint Congress can send abstracts for evaluation by the Congress Scientific Committee by 30 March, 2005.
