Jettex® D disperse dye inks set new standards for digital printing of polyester

DyStar is launching the first four Jettex D disperse dye inks (CMYK) for digital direct printing on polyester. Jettex D inks set new standards: unlike sublimation transfer inks they ensure optimum depth of shade and brilliancy, good coverage of the colour space, sharp outlines, high colour fastness and good fixation using all common fixation methods.

Jettex D inks are water-based disperse dye inks manufactured using innovative formulation technology to ensure top stability. They are identical to the disperse dyes used in conventional textile printing on polyester. This ensures maximum process reliability, lab-to-bulk transferability and consistency of shade.

Jettex D inks are particularly suitable for digital printing of flags, banners, advertising materials and ladies' wear. Good light fastness is obtained on flame retardant fabrics such as Trevira® CS without any reduction in flame retardancy.

Further shades are being developed to round out the four basic shades now being launched. The new Jettex D inks complement the Jettex R reactive dye inks and Jettex A acid dye inks already in the market.
