Satiation, satiety and their effects on eating behaviour

Want to hear about how to lose weight without going hungry? How to bulk up meals without adding calories? The British Nutrition Foundation conference on 18th June 2009 was all about how satiety and satiation – the feeling of fullness after eating – and how it can be manipulated to improve our eating behaviour. The conference featured the latest research on what components of the diet make you feel fuller for longer.

The conference marked the publication of a British Nutrition Foundation briefing paper on satiation and satiety in the June issue of the Nutrition Bulletin.
