Additives 2005: Optimising Automotive Power Trains
Additives 2005: Optimising Automotive Power Trains, The Burlington Hotel, Dublin, Ireland, 5-7 April 2005
Keywords: Additives, Automotive fuels, Conferences
This international conference on additives for automotive engine fuels and lubricants will be held at the Burlington Hotel, Dublin, Ireland from 5 to 7 April 2005, with a dedicated pre-conference training day on 4 April. The conference is organised by the RSC Industrial Inorganic Chemicals Sector and the Tribology and Combustion Engines and Fuels Groups of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers. “Additives 2003” attracted over 200 delegates from industry and academia worldwide who participated in an exciting programme of keynote presentations, contributed papers and poster sessions. We are hoping to increase this number in 2005 and have already had an encouraging response.
The meeting will focus on:
- •
challenge facing the automotive power train industry;
- •
the OEM's response to meeting environmental and consumer needs; and
- •
the contribution of fuel, lubricant and additive researchers and manufacturers to meeting OEM objectives.
Invited speakers include: Shaun Kennedy, Infineum, UK; Angela Strank, BP, UK; Fumio Ueda, Toyota Motor Corporation, Japan; and Trevor Russell, ATC (Additives Technical Committee)
