More World Championship approval for Rock Oil
Keywords: Oils, Motors
Hot on the heels of the recent approval of Castor Kart 100 oil for use in the World Championship Kart Competition, Rock Oil's premier 2 stroke oil, Synthesis 2 Racing has now received certification of its approval for use in the 1999 FIM Road Racing World Championship Grand Prix.
Synthesis 2 Racing was specifically developed on the world's most arduous Grand Prix circuits - both road racing and motocross - and offers the benefits of three different types of synthetic base stocks combined with the very best additives to provide:
- •
longer-lasting engine components;
- •
cleaner burning for fewer deposits, particularly on rings and plugs;
- •
extra-positive throttle response.
Maximum power - total lubrication
Synthesis 2 Racing, packaged in its distinctive gold and red bottle, was tested at the Swiss Federal Laboratories for Materials Testing and Research.
One of the most outstanding results was shown by the MON Octane Rating Test, which showed absolutely no reduction of octane when fuel and lubricant were mixed, demonstrating no potential loss of power with complete lubrication.
Testimonials to the outstanding performance levels achieved on Synthesis 2 Racing are extensive. During the 1998 250cc Grand Prix season, Padgett's Honda RS250 rider Jay Vincent achieved some phenomenal results, beating many "regulars" during his first season in GPs. For example: Jay and his team were one of only three teams to score points in the last eight GPs of 1998, and scored successive top ten positions in GPs in France, Spain, The Netherlands, the UK and Germany.
