Axel Christiernsson opens UK branch

Axel Christiernsson is one of the world leaders in the production of lubricating greases. The company was founded some 110 years ago in Stockholm and now has its head office in NOL that is close to Gothenburg. Production (>12,000 tonnes) is carried out in Sweden and also in Fijnaart in Holland when Axel Christiernsson purchased the independent TIMAC Business in 1991 and subsequently this company is now known as Axel Christiernsson bv.

Sales and distribution of lubricating greases from Axel Christiernsson are taken care of by their clients as Axel Christernsson are a true wholesaling company. Product and packaging are always marked with customer's own design and labelling Axel Christiernsson product names are never seen in the marketplace. Axel Christiernsson offers complete technical support unsurpassed by any other independent lubricating grease manufacturer.

The development of the Axel Christiernsson Innovation Centre has brought together serious scientific workers in lubricating grease technology, enabling expansion in the UK and German markets.

Axel Christiernsson UK is a branch of AB Axel Christiernsson Sweden and is located in Bury, Lancs. The office is managed by one of the most respected lubricating grease technologists in the UK, John Cliff. John has joined the Axel Christiernsson Innovation Centre run by the world-renowned Graham Gow and is looking to develop the UK market for traditional and highly specialised lubricating greases and to develop processes for the worldwide future operations. This year sees the introduction of Axel Christiernsson UK and The Axel Christiernsson Innovation Centre.
