Role of education in fight against racismKeywords: Race relations, Education

The European Monitoring Centre on Racism and Xenophobia, in partnership with the 15 EU member states, is exploring how good practice in education can help to prevent racism, xenophobia and anti-Semitism. The centre has created 15 national focal points to form Raxen, a new European information network on racism and xenophobia. Raxen is gathering information on education, employment, racial violence and legislation. The information will be made available to the EU institutions and member states, plus other EU and international organizations. Further details are available from the centre's Vienna headquarters.
