EU-China business school
Keywords Business schools, European Union, China
The European Commission has made available 10.9 million euros to finance the EU-China International Business School over the next five years. The school was set up in Shanghai in 1994 to provide management training and to organize exchanges between European and Chinese students and business people. The Commission considers that it helps to strengthen Europe's position in China and also helps that country's economic-reform programme. The Commission hopes in future to develop more contacts between European and Chinese education systems, and to encourage the business school's independence.
