Abstract

When my husband and I first came to Kenya during the middle of last year I was convinced that my experience and specialist knowledge of nutrition would be of great value to the African people. Having trained for 4½ years in home economics and dietetics at reputable British colleges and having worked within the profession for 5 years I saw no reason at all why I could not contribute towards bettering the lives of the East African community.
