Abstract

There is in reality very little mystery about the mechanics of the cleaning operation, and an understanding of what is involved in the removal of soiling will enable management and staff to apply correct techniques in every type of situation. Soiling is simply a question of matter that is out of place and cleaning involves the removal of dirt from a surface in the most efficient and cost effective way, having due regard to the type of dirt and nature of the surface involved.
