A Study on Staff Succession
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to provide a simple model designed to investigate a staff structure, showing how this would vary over time under different recruitment and promotion policies and with different assumptions about wastage. The staff structure examined was of those employees covered by the Region's management development scheme. The model developed simulated the movement of staff through the hierarchical structure in terms of groups of staff rather than on an individual basis.
