EMPLOYEE RELATIONS — A FUTURE‐ORIENTED, PROGRESSIVE APPROACH

Abstract

Managements are urged to adopt a more open and participative approach to employee relations, involving not just individual employees, but also their representatives. A key prerequisite for such an approach is the adoption of a longer time horizon than is normally the case in the management of employee relations.
