AOL 74: Admiralty Oil Laboratory Comes of Age

Abstract

THE Admiralty Oil Laboratory recently held an Open Day to celebrate their coming of age. Established initially at Brentford in 1953 (as a result of the “Recommendation of the Admiralty Oil Quality Committee” under Lord Geddes in 1951), the laboratory moved to its present site at Fairmile, Cobham, in 1968.
