Abstract

THE growing appreciation of the importance of correct lubrication systems is reflected in the expansion of Lumatic Limited, a small company specialising in this field. In May 1955, Mr. W. Travis went into business and formed Lumatic Limited at 47 South Street, Epsom, Surrey. These premises comprised a disused house and a vegetable garden on which his first assembly shop was erected to produce lubrication equipment from grease nipples to automatic systems feeding up to 3000 points.
