The Secretary of State opens The Largest Oil Seal Factory in Europe

Abstract

The NEW FACTORY OF GEORGE ANGUS & COMPANY, LTD., to manufacture oil seals, at Coast Road, Wallsend‐on‐Tyne, was officially opened by the Rt. Hon. Major Gwilym Lloyd George, M.P., Secretary of State, on 18th October. Major Gwilym Lloyd George was introduced by Col. E. Graham Angus, C.B.E., M.C., T.D., D.L., Chairman, and he paid a tribute to the contributions that this company has made and were making, in wartime and peacetime, to assist production.
