M.E.R.L's LUBRICATION RESEARCH

Abstract

We referred in our last issue to the valuable work being carried out by the Mechanical Engineering Research Laboratory (MERL) at East Kilbride and Thorntonhall, Near Glasgow, and we will now elaborate on this by providing specific descriptions and illustrations of the work now proceeding in the Lubrication Section under the direction of Dr. F. T. Barwell, who is head of this Division. Director of Research at MERL is Dr. Sopwith.
