Abstract

Further to comments we have made in the past on the ball and chain effect on industry of excessive environmental legislation, we were pleased to read the opinions on this issue of Michael Brent, President of the Paintmakers Association, now the British Coatings Federation. Mr Brent is also Managing Director of Trimite, Britain's largest independent paint manufacturer. In the President's Report for 92–93, Michael Brent states:
