Abstract

A true dual‐beam spectrophotometer, the Color‐Eye 7000, has been developed by Macbeth which provides extremely high colour measurement performance. Designed for quality control and colour fomulation in the paint and coatings, plastics, textiles, printing ink and pulp and paper industries, the instrument's exceptional repeatability (▵E<0.1 RMS CIELAB)and interinstrument agreement (▵E<0.08 AVG) ensure accuracy to a known degree without reference to colour standards.
