New Coatings

Abstract

Accepting the principle that ‘prevention is better than cure’, the Finnish Bridge Building Office of the Roads and Waterworks Administration based in Helsinki, appointed the Technical Research Centre of Finland to undertake a report on the comparative benefits of surface coatings claimed to provide protection against damaging carbonation and all other deleterious influences on concrete.
