Frictional testing for bulk handling problem solving

Abstract

The problem of poor flow characteristics with equipment handling bulk solids is no strangerto materials handling engineers. This common occurrence is, however, unnecessary and can be avoided through the use of frictional testing procedures at the equipment design stage.
