Hydroxy acrylate copolymer dispersion for water dilutable, acid curing wood lacquers
Abstract
Clear lacquers are still being used extensively for the finishing of wooden furniture. We have to realise, however, that we could apply a variant here of the well‐known proverb: “All is not ‘wood’ that glitters”, because much “wood” appears not to be wood at all upon closer inspection, but paper or plastic printed with a wood imitation. Besides, many cheap types of wood are printed with an “expensive” imitation.
