Abstract

The Polytechnic of the South Bank, Borough Rd., London SE10AA, runs several courses in the Department of Chemistry and Polymer Technology on a part‐time basis. These include: BSc and HNC in chemistry, courses in advanced analytical chemistry, food science, fuel technology & corrosion and metal finishing, some leading to the Diploma, Graduateship, Licentiateship and Associateship of the Plastics Institute and the City and Guilds Certificate in plastics technology. Three Polytechnic Certificates are offered, one in surface coatings, one in the printing ink option of this subject and the other in plastics process engineering. The Licentiateship of the Oil and Colour Chemists Association in the Technology of Surface Coatings is also offered.
