Running Meetings Successfully
Abstract
To listen to members of organisations, there are very few successful meetings. Most are seen as being, very largely, a waste of time and extremely frustrating. This paper identifies the things which can go wrong and the actions which can be taken, by committee members as well as by chairmen, to make them more effective. We all spend a great deal of time in meetings and it is in the best interests of our sanity, as well as of organisational effectiveness, that they should lead to real achievements.
