Management Training: A New Approach
Abstract
The relationship between training and business success is now so well documented, even allowing for a margin of propaganda, that further comment is hardly necessary. Increase the level of training, the argument runs, and improved business performance will follow. In putting forward this view, the ubiquitous reports and surveys appear to assume that all that is required is for potential users of training resources suddenly to see the light, commission and carry out development programmes, and British business will take off.
