Abstract

Like Topsy, many things just growed. In the absence of planning this can result in anomalies; witness the situation relating to mandatory awards for students to take full‐time GCE ‘A’‐level courses. Students taking a degree or an HND course qualify for mandatory awards. Many students, notably graduates, then experience varying degrees of difficulty in finding suitable employment.
