Extinction — how to get results by doing nothing
Abstract
Ignore him and he will stop it. When a person does something irritating, he will generally stop it if ignored; although initially he may repeat the action more often, or in a noisier fashion, in an effort to gain attention. Hence how to get results by doing nothing, and the possible drawbacks from such policy, form the subject of this article.
