Part 2 — The Hilton combustion demonstration unit

Abstract

The first part of this article described the unit and suggested likely fields of use. This second and concluding part describes a few simple experiments performed to assess the unit's basic capabilities in the suggested fields of use because, if the apparatus was not able to cover elementary work, advanced projects would be impossible.
