Abstract

In temporary quarters in a secluded London backwater, peeling but elegant, overlooking Regent's Park, the greatest training exercise ever undertaken in Britain is being slowly, though relentlessly, mounted. It is from here, this monument to faded gentility, that the newly‐created training board for the engineering industry has started to spread out its tentacles —tentacles which will eventually search out every engineering firm in Britain employing more than five people.
