R.I.P. Dip.Tech.

Abstract

The Council for National Academic Awards has adopted the degrees of B.Sc. and B.A. as its awards at first degree level. It has also decided that the successful completion of a sandwich course, whether for B.Sc. or B.A., ‘should be denoted by the addition of a star as a mark of distinction’. Dip. Tech. is dead: long live B.Sc.!
