Abstract

Sir John Cockcroft's views “Britain needs a major new technological university of at least 5,000 students if it is to catch up with America and Russia in producing technologists” said Sir John Cockcroft, Master of Churchill College, Cambridge, at the annual meeting of the Incorporated Association of Head Masters.
