TEACHING TOPICS: The Teaching of Jig and Tool Design
Abstract
IT HAS BEEN stated many times that jig and tool design is a difficult subject to teach because the design of such equipment rarely has a mathematical basis. Few will disagree with the latter part of the statement, but the implications of the first part must be examined carefully.
