Abstract

Nationally reported food poisoning cases have been increasing, most likely as a result of recent trends to supply food on larger scales and to a public which eats out more often. The Aylesbury Vale District Council reports on its programme of clean food awards, designed to encourage higher standards of hygiene in catering establishments, and describes its success.
