Employee Involvement — Ford style
Abstract
In the space of less than two years 351,400 auto workers have been laid of by the American car manufacturers. Motor vehicle capacity utilization has plummeted because of competition from imported Japanese cars, while profitability of the industry has swung heavily into the red with record losses being recorded.
