Abstract
The dynamics of today's business environment are such that a shift in ownership every generation, though not inevitable may be possible. Smaller companies being particularly vulnerable to this kind of takeover activity the author forewarns of the traps into which the seller can fall and also suggests ways and means of getting the best price for the complete unit.
