Computer simulation speeds decision taking

Abstract

Many companies have already accepted such techniques as network analysis and automatic trend projection by exponential smoothing and are confidently using them on a routine basis. With the increasing sophistication of management, computer simulation as a tool for investigating problems of queueing and storage seems likely to gain similar acceptance.
