Risks and choices
Abstract
Suggests ways to help young people consider the implications if they are thinking about using drugs or find themselves in situations where drugs are available. Looks at the strengths and weaknesses of the staff who are to deliver the educational programme in question and the development of a pack of materials suited to the needs of the school. Proposes an outline programme which aims to be flexible enough to enable experienced teachers to use it as successfully as those with little experience. Concludes by stating that the responsibility for keeping people up‐to‐date does not lie only with schools but also with parents.
