About the Authors

Professor Chen Schechter, PhD, leadership, organizational development and policy in education, Faculty of Education, Bar-Ilan University, Israel. Schechter is the Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Educational Administration, and President of the MOFET National Institute for Research and Development in Education. His research interests include leadership development/preparation, educational change/reform in accountability systems, learning from success, collaborative learning strategies, and systems thinking leadership.

Dr Lior Halevi, PhD, has been in the field of education for over 20 years as a teacher, educator, and high school principal. His work includes the training and accompaniment of principals, and dealing with school principals' personal resilience. Halevi received his PhD from Bar-Ilan University where he is a Lecturer. He is also a Lecturer at Ono Academic College and head of academic relations in the Amit educational network. He is a graduate of the Mandel School for Educational Leadership in Jerusalem, and the author of books and articles on management, education, and leadership.
