About the Author

Mohamed Ismail Sabry is a writer and academic. His previous published works include a book The Ideological Struggle in the 20th Century: Communism’s Confrontation with Capitalism, a novel, and short stories collection (published in Arabic), besides a number of academic papers published in peer-reviewed international journals in his academic fields of interest. He is currently working as a Postdoctoral Researcher in Economics at Bremen University of Applied Sciences (Germany). His PhD in Economics was obtained from the Philipps University of Marburg (Germany), and he had an MA and BA from the American University in Cairo (Egypt). His academic fields of interest include institutional economics, political economy, socioeconomics, and development. Outside academia, he has great interest in history and literature.
