Benchmarks en route to a better learning capability : Encouraging the innovators

Abstract

The notion that organizations need to carry out certain operations because “we have always done them” makes no sense. It is the same principle as the “we’ve always managed without in the past” mentality. Taken to its logical conclusion, this kind of thinking suggests that no kind of innovation would be worthwhile.
