Simulation for TQM ‐ the unused tool?
Abstract
Simulation is a widely used tool in the design of factory systems of almost all kinds and yet seems to be used rarely in the design and analysis of quality management systems. Explores the reported applications of simulation in this and other fields relating to quality and concludes that the benefits of simulation could make a significant contribution to the continuous improvement of the quality management systems themselves.
