SIMULATED ENTERPRISE OFFICES (LERNBUROS) IN TRAINING
Abstract
The creation of a simulated office environment in West German commercial colleges is described. Its methods of operation, reasons for its introduction and why it has survived where other, similar innovations failed to catch on, are examined. Graduates of the process seem to find jobs sooner and get promoted faster than those emerging from traditional classroom techniques and apprenticeships.
