Abstract
The global dimension of logistics management will become increasingly prominent through the 1990s. As such, logistics managers will face new challenges and they must begin preparing for these challenges now. This article outlines six imperatives or principles which should guide the thinking of logistics managers as they develop their global logistics capabilities.
