Abstract
Purpose
This paper sets out to solve a common and crucial fundamental theoretical problem of gray incidence cluster analysis: to
Design/methodology/approach
This paper does not study the concrete expressions of various incidence degrees but rather the perfect correlation essence of such incidence degrees, that is, sufficient and necessary conditions.
Findings
For any order difference incidence degree, the similarity incidence degree, the direct proportion incidence degree, the parallel incidence degree and the nearness incidence degree, it is proven that the perfect correlation relation is an equivalence relation. The set composed of all sequences Y that are equivalent to sequences X is studied, that is, the equivalence class of X. The structure and mutual relations of these equivalence classes are discussed, and the topological homeomorphism concept of incidence degree is introduced. The conclusion is obtained that the equivalence classes of the two incidence degrees must be the same when the topological homeomorphism is obtained.
Research limitations/implications
In this paper, only the perfect correlation relation of any order difference incidence degree, the similarity incidence degree, the direct proportion incidence degree, the parallel incidence degree and the nearness incidence degree are studied as equivalent relations.
Originality/value
Not only are the research results of several incidence degrees involved in this paper original but also many other effective incidence degrees have not done this basic research, so this paper opens up a research direction with theoretical significance.

Abstract
Purpose
The purpose of this study is investigate the transient aerodynamic characteristics of high-speed vehicle with body roll motion under crosswind condition to improve aerodynamic stability.
Design/methodology/approach
An overset mesh was used to simulate the rolling motion of the vehicle body. A wind tunnel experiment was conducted to validate the numerical method.
Findings
The results revealed that the vehicle’s aerodynamic characteristics changed periodically with the body’s periodic motion. In the absence of crosswind, the pressure distribution on the left and right sides of the vehicle body was symmetrical, and the speed streamline flowed to the rear of the vehicle in an orderly manner. The maximum aerodynamic lift observed in the transient simulation was −0.089, which is approximately 0.70 times that of the quasi-static simulation experiment. In addition, the maximum aerodynamic side force observed in the transient simulation was 0.654, which is approximately 1.25 times that of the quasi-static simulation experiment.
Originality/value
The aerodynamic load varies periodically with the vehicle body’s cyclic motion. However, the extreme values of the aerodynamic load do not occur when the vehicle body is at its highest or lowest position. This phenomenon is primarily attributed to the mutual interference of airflow viscosity and the hysteresis effect in the flow field, leading to the formation of a substantial vortex near the wheel. Consequently, the aerodynamic coefficient at each horizontal position becomes inconsistent during the periodic rolling of the vehicle body.

Abstract
Purpose
This study aims to examine how reward expectancy mediates the effect of abusive supervision on organizational citizenship behavior. Furthermore, drawing upon regulatory focus theory, this paper proposes and tests the moderating role of promotion focus in the proposed mediating effect.
Design/methodology/approach
Both hierarchical regression and PROCESS macro are conducted to analyze longitudinal data collected from 142 MBA students in different industries in the People’s Republic of China.
Findings
Results reveal that abusive supervision was negatively related to both organization-directed citizenship behavior (OCBO) and individual-directed citizenship behavior (OCBI) through undermining individual reward expectancies. Results also show that promotion focus moderated the negative effect of abusive supervision on reward expectancy, such that the relationship was stronger when promotion focus was higher. In addition, the indirect effect of abusive supervision on OCBO and OCBI carried through reward expectancy was also stronger among individuals with higher promotion focus.
Originality/value
It contributes to the literature on abusive supervision by offering a new perspective regarding the mechanism of abusive supervision influence on organizational citizenship behavior. The findings thus shed insights into cognitions and motivations that are associated with organizational citizenship behavior. In addition, it is the first to link abusive supervision with regulatory focus theory to examine the decrease of organizational citizenship behavior.

Abstract
Purpose
The purpose of this paper is to study the condensation flow of wet steam in the last stage of a steam turbine and to obtain the distribution of condensation parameters such as nucleation rate, Mach number and wetness.
Design/methodology/approach
Because of the sensitivity of the condensation parameter distribution, a double fluid numerical model and a realizable k-ε-kd turbulence model were applied in this study, and the numerical solution for the non-equilibrium condensation flow is provided.
Findings
The simulation results are consistent with the experimental results of the Bakhtar test. The calculation results indicate that the degree of departure from saturation has a significant impact on the wet steam transonic condensation flow. When the inlet steam deviates from the saturation state, shock wave interference and vortex mixing also have a great influence on the distribution of water droplets.
Originality/value
The research results can provide reference for steam turbine wetness losses evaluation and flow passage structure optimization design.

Abstract
Purpose
The purpose of this study is to improved the efficiency of condensing steam turbines by legitimately reforming the flow structure. It is of great significance to study the condensation flow characteristics of wet steam for optimizing the operation of condensing steam turbines.
Design/methodology/approach
A two-fluid model was used to study the wet steam flow in a stator cascade. The effects of the inlet temperature and pressure drop on the cascade performance were analyzed. On this basis, endwall protrusion models were set up at varied axial position on the pressure surface to evaluate the wetness control and loss under different design conditions for cascade optimization.
Findings
The analysis indicates that increasing the inlet temperature or decreasing the pressure drop can effectively control the steam wetness but increase the droplet radius. The increasing inlet temperature can delay the condensation and alleviate the deterioration of the aerodynamic performance of cascades. The non-axisymmetric endwall can significantly affect the distribution of steam parameters below its height and slightly reduce the droplet radius. Compared with the original stator cascade, the optimum design conditions reduce the steam wetness by 8.07 per cent and the total pressure loss by 6.91 per cent below a 20 per cent blade height.
Originality/value
These research results can serve as a reference for condensing steam turbine wetness losses evaluation and flow passage optimization design.

Abstract
Purpose
While the normal wheel–rail contact model cannot be accurately used for light rail transit (LRT) wheel wear analysis with large wheelset lateral displacement and wheelset yaw angle, a modified semi-Hertzian contact model (MSHM) is proposed in the paper.
Design/methodology/approach
MSHM was first proposed to consider the wheelset motion with the lateral displacement and the yaw angle. Then, a dynamic model of an LRT was established and the influence of some key factors on wheel wear is analyzed. At last, after operating for a certain mileage, the predicted wheel wear is compared with the tested wheel wear.
Findings
Compared with the tested wheel wear, the predicted wheel wear shows a good agreement with the measured result, verifying the accuracy of MSHM.
Originality/value
Considering larger wheelset lateral displacement and yaw angle, MSHM can be used to calculate the wheel wear of the LRT with high accuracy.

Abstract
Purpose
According to the fact that the single function transformation which can both reduce the class ratio dispersion and keep the relative error no enlargement after the inverse transformation does not exist, this paper provides the separable binary function transformation
Design/methodology/approach
First of all, to meet that the sequence reduces the class ratio dispersion after binary function transformation, the sufficient and necessary condition of binary function transformation with reduced class ratio dispersion is obtained. Secondly, to meet the condition that the inverse transformation relative error is not enlarged, the necessary condition of separable binary function transformation is obtained respectively for monotonically increasing and monotonically decreasing function
Findings
The sufficient and necessary condition of binary function transformation with reduced class ratio dispersion and the necessary condition of separable binary function transformation with the inverse transformation relative error no enlargement.
Practical implications
According to the properties of separable binary function transformation provided in this paper, the grey prediction function model is established, which can improve the modeling accuracy.
Originality/value
This paper provides a binary function transformation, and researches the sufficient and necessary condition of binary function transformation with reduced class ratio dispersion and the necessary condition of separable binary function transformation with the inverse transformation relative error no enlargement. It is easy for scholars to carry out the pretest before selecting the separable binary function transformation. The binary function transformation is the further extension of single function transformation, which broadens and enriches the choice of function transformation.

Abstract
Prior studies have shown that terminology support can improve health information retrieval but have not taken into account the characteristics of the user performing the search. In this chapter, the impact of translating queries’ terms between lay and medico-scientific terminology, in users with different levels of health literacy and topic familiarity, is evaluated. Findings demonstrate that medico-scientific queries demand more from the users and are mostly aimed at health professionals. In addition, these queries retrieve documents that are less readable and less well understood by users. Despite this, medico-scientific queries are associated with higher precision in the top-10 retrieved documents results and tend slightly to generate knowledge with less incorrect contents, the researchers concluded that search engines should provide query suggestions with medico-scientific terminology, whenever the user is able to digest it, that is, in users above the lowest levels of health literacy and topic familiarity. On the other hand, retrieval systems should provide lay alternative queries in users with inadequate health literacy or in those unfamiliar with a topic. In fact, the quantity of incorrect contents in the knowledge that emerges from a medico-scientific session tends to decrease with topic familiarity and health literacy. In terms of topic familiarity, the opposite happens with Graded Average Precision. Moreover, users most familiar with a topic tend to have higher motivational relevance with medico-scientific queries than with lay queries. This work is the first to consider user context features while studying the impact of a query processing technique in several aspects of the retrieval process, including the medical accuracy of the acquired knowledge.

Abstract
The market is a complex organism that has rich implications and essential stipulations. From the property right perspective, the market is a series of property rights, rules, and system arrangements (an aggregation of rights), which are constructed, owned, operated, and managed by the state and from which the government can benefit. The market property right is owned by the government (state). The costs of market property right include tangible (explicit) cost, system cost, human cost, and other cost components. The study on the cost components of market property right is conducive to establishing the principle of matching investment with ownership, matching investment with income, and integrating (unifying) cost with efficiency.
