Abstract
Purpose
The purpose of this paper is to understand consumers’ intention to adopt internet banking. The study adopted the technology acceptance model with additional constructs (i.e. consumer innate innovativeness (II), domain-specific innovativeness (DSI) and perceived security risk (PR)).
Design/methodology/approach
The data were collected through a questionnaire-based survey (487 usable responses) from Indian consumers. A two-step SEM approach (i.e. measurement model and structural model) was used to analyze the data.
Findings
The findings show the significant positive influence of perceived usefulness, ease of use, attitude, II and DSI on consumer’s intention to adopt internet banking. The PR was found to have a significant negative influence on consumers’ intention to adopt internet banking, and DSI was found to negatively influence PR.
Research limitations/implications
The study is limited to users of a particular region of India. Furthermore, the study limits itself in determining consumers’ intention only, not actual usage.
Originality/value
The study is a preliminary attempt to examine consumer’s intention to adopt internet banking in India by analyzing innovativeness and perceived risk.

Abstract
Purpose
The purpose of this paper is to understand the consumer’s intention toward internet banking adoption in Indian context by combining two theories; theory of planned behavior (TPB), technology acceptance model (TAM) and an additional construct, i.e. perceived risk.
Design/methodology/approach
A questionnaire based survey was conducted to collect responses from young consumers (210 usable responses). Data were analyzed using structural equation modeling to evaluate the strength of relationship.
Findings
The result shows that perceived usefulness, attitude, subjective norm and perceived behavioral control significantly influences the consumer’s intention to adopt internet banking whereas perceived risk failed to show any significant influence over intention to adopt internet banking.
Research limitations/implications
The study is limited to young consumers (i.e. professional students) only. Further, the study concerns itself with consumer’s intention not actual behavior.
Practical implications
The finding will be useful for bank officials for devising strategies and policies related to internet banking in the Indian scenario.
Originality/value
The paper is one of the initial attempts in Indian context to understand the consumer’s intention to adopt internet banking by combining TPB and TAM theories.

Case overview/synopsis
This case study analyses the transformation journey of 1mg to Tata 1mg, one of the most trusted internet pharmacies in India. This case describes a small start-up that was launched in 2013 and had made many acquisitions since then. This case revolves around Tata Digital’s purchase of 1mg. The case starts out by explaining 1mg’s financial situation and why the company was acquired. This case study focuses on how the integration helped Tata Digital and 1mg realize their respective missions. Furthermore, the case study illustrates the benefits and difficulties of this integration.

This case study is basically aimed at postgraduate management students; it can be used in strategic management and health-care courses. Purpose
Radish (Raphanus sativus) is valued for its nutritive and medicinal properties, but its juice is not palatable because of the pungent flavor. The purpose of this study is to optimize the blending process of radish juice by using sugarcane juice, herbal extract and salt concentration.
Design/methodology/approach
The statistical design provided 20 formulations; where herbal extract concentration varied from 0.5 to 2.5 per cent, sugarcane juice concentration from 20 to 50 per cent and salt concentration from 0 to 1.5 per cent.
Findings
The p = 0.05 was used to designate the statistical significance of all the responses under study. Different product formulations had total soluble solids (TSS) that ranged from 9.7 to 15.0°Brix, titratable acidity from 0.6 to 1.3%, pH from 3.3 to 4.0, reducing sugars from 0.6 to 0.8%, total sugars from 9.4 to 3.1%, total protein from 172.9 to 304.8 mg/100 ml, total phenols from 25.5 to 29.8 mg/100 ml, ascorbic acid from 10.4 to 19.8 mg/100 ml, antioxidant activity from 77.3 to 83.6% and overall acceptability from 5.6 to 7.7. Sugarcane juice concentration of 30%, herbal extract mixture and salt concentrations of 1 and 1.5%, respectively, were the optimized process conditions for the preparation of nutritional radish juice achieved with the best fit of desirability, i.e. 0.88. Cluster analysis revealed that concentration of sugarcane juice had the maximum significant effect on the quality characteristics of nutritional radish beverage as compared to the other two variables under study.
Originality/value
The developed product can help to promote the use of radish as a substrate for the beverage industry.

Abstract
Purpose
The objective of this systematic literature review (SLR) is to outline the existing research in the field of infrastructure project finance (IPF). This paper aims to summarise the academic and practitioner research to highlight the benefits of adopting IPF structures in uncertain environments. By highlighting all conceptual and applied implications of IPF, the study identifies future research directions to develop a holistic understanding of IPF.
Design/methodology/approach
The SLR is based on 125 articles published in peer-reviewed journals during 1975–2019. After providing a brief overview of IPF, research methodology and citation, publication and author analysis, the SLR presents the various domains around which existing research in IPF is focussed and provides future research propositions in each domain.
Findings
The study found that despite the increased usage of IPF, academic and practitioner research in the field is lagging. Also, with increased usage of IPF in emerging and under-developed economies, IPF structure presents a perfect setting to understand how investment and financing are interlinked and how to overcome the institutional voids, socio-economic risks and inter-partner differences by IPF structures.
Originality/value
This literature review paper is based on the research in IPF between 1975 and 2019. To the best of the authors’ understanding, the SLR is the first focussed study detailing a methodical and thorough compendium of existing studies in the IPF domain. By focussing on various domains of IPF research, this paper presents future research avenues in the field.

Abstract
Purpose
In the recent post-pandemic era, the globe has been anxious for the sustainable disposal of healthcare waste to protect public health, protect the environment and enhance future preparedness. Developing countries, in particular, have struggled to dispose of healthcare waste (HCW) to eradicate the hazardous effects of medical waste generated during and after the deadly COVID-19 pandemic. Hence the purpose of the research paper is to develop a hybrid decision-making framework to identify various barriers for sustainable disposal of healthcare waste use of Grey-Decision Making Trial and Evaluation Laboratory (G-DEMATEL) and Analytical Network Process (ANP).
Design/methodology/approach
A hybrid framework of Grey-Decision Making Trial and Evaluation Laboratory (G-DEMATEL) and Analytical Network Process (ANP) has been used to rank barriers and sub-barriers in the disposal of healthcare waste.
Findings
The study’s findings suggest that lack of segregation practices, absence of green procurement policy, obsolete technologies and resistance to adopting change management are the topmost causal barriers influencing the remaining barriers. Lack of commitment among healthcare administrations, lack of standard performance measures and resistance to adopting change appear to be the topmost crucial barriers.
Practical implications
The study’s finding enables all stakeholders to prioritize the barriers systematically for better performance and save resources during the process. The policymakers can use the results to design a clear regulatory framework.
Originality/value
The literature has highlighted the factors and their association with the disposal of healthcare waste mainly in isolation. The results are validated against the Grey-Analytical Hierarchy Process (G-AHP) to ensure the robustness of the proposed framework. This paper is one of the preliminary attempts to propose a framework of the interrelationships of the factors that have a direct role in survival for management education.

Abstract
Purpose
The objective of this paper is to investigate, assess and develop a hierarchical model to evaluate the interrelationship of critical success factors (CSFs) that influence the deployment of Sustainable LSS framework in hospitals. Further, developed model has been validated to investigate its applicability in hospitals towards sustainable LSS implementation.
Design/methodology/approach
“Interpretive Structural Modeling” (ISM) has been utilized to develop a convenient hierarchy and contextual relationship of key CSFs throughout the implementation pathway in Indian healthcare industry through systematic literature review and expert opinion, which is ensured by a taxonomy of CSFs using MICMAC (“Matrice d' Impacts Croisés-Multiplication Appliquée á un Classement”) and questionnaire-based survey to empirically validate the model through utilizing “Structural Equation Modelling” (SEM).
Findings
In this study, 17 keys CSFs to sustainable LSS implementation in healthcare industry have been investigated, and modeled. “Social and environmental responsibility,” “Financial return and project success stories,” “Top management involvement and leadership to implement Sustainable LSS,” “Availability of required resources, and their efficient utilization” are found to be the most essential CSFs for successful sustainable LSS implementation in healthcare industry. Further, classification of CSFs has been done for better interpretation of their nature using MICMAC approach. Moreover, the applicability of the proposed model has been empirically assessed utilizing SEM.
Research limitations/implications
The scrutiny of data reveals that the initial inputs from experts throughout the ISM pathway could trigger biased inputs into the study and generalization of the results into others, it might be viable that this propounded model might trigger distinct outcomes for contrasting types of healthcare organizations.
Practical implications
This model on sustainable LSS would support the decision-makers, practitioners and researchers to predict key CSFs through deployment and support the existing academic research on sustainable LSS. Accordingly, the focus on the CSFs of the sustainable LSS can be prioritized to diminish waste, and enhance patient satisfaction and safety.
Originality/value
This paper is an original contribution of analysis of CSFs in Indian healthcare industry utilizing an integrated ISM-MICMAC and SEM approach.

Abstract
Purpose
The purpose of this study is to develop a structured hierarchical interrelationship-based model to evaluate the critical failure factors (CFFs) that affect the sustainable Lean Six Sigma (SLSS) framework implementation in a healthcare organization. Further, solution approaches have been provided that guide to eliminate them.
Design/methodology/approach
The CFFs has been identified through empirical study and clustered into six major categories for their better understanding. The interrelation among CFFs has been developed through total interpretive structural modeling (TISM) and classifies the nature using MICMAC technique. Further, prioritized the CFFs based on its driving and dependents power. The methodology enabled the decision-makers, practitioners to systematically analyze the CFFs and develop a structural model for implementing SLSS in the healthcare environment.
Findings
A total of 14 leading CFFs have been identified, and 7-level structured interrelationship-based model has been formed. The experts have provided the solution approach after careful analysis of the developed model. Based on the analysis, it was observed that the significant CFFs affect the deployment of the SLSS framework in healthcare organizations.
Research limitations/implications
The structured model and methodological approach have been tested in a healthcare organization. In the future, the approach can be applied in the different service sectors.
Practical implications
The present study has been conducted in a real-time industrial problem. The practitioners, decision-makers and academicians expressed the usefulness of methodology for understanding the CFFs interrelation and their effect on SLSS implementation. This study also guides decision-makers to systematically tackle related problems.
Originality/value
The development of a structured CFFs based model for SLSS framework implementation using the integrated TISM-MICMAC with a detailed solution approach is a unique effort in a healthcare environment.

Abstract
Industry 5.0 has shown a new approach to integrating enterprises, particularly fintech firms. It would be interesting to see whether we are ready to implement Industry 5.0 across domains and enterprises while there are still obstacles to overcome, such as cybercrime impacting fintech organizations. Using empirical analysis of the fintech stocks that make up the KBW index, the author uncovered the influence of cybercrime on investor herding behavior in a highly interdependent environment provided by Industry 4.0. The cross-sectional standard deviation has been shown to rise after a cyber attack on a company anywhere on the globe. Furthermore, the author established the long-term equilibrium of the volatilities of gold and bitcoin returns, as well as the volatility of Keefe, Bruyette, and Woods (KBW) returns, in the sample after the firms’ cyber assault using Vector Auto Regressive (VAR) and Vector error correction model (VECM) models. Following the cyber assault, there is a decrease in the volatility of KBW returns while the volatility of bitcoin returns rises, suggesting a volatility transfer from one market to the other. These results show that during times of crisis, investors should be more careful in their approach to investment diversification, and any Industry 5.0 implementations should be done with the constraints in mind.

Abstract
Purpose
With the rising needs of health-care (HC) services during the health outbreaks, it is essential to upgrade the existing HC delivery infrastructure. The study aims to prioritize and highlight the interrelationships among the key factors of the smart health-care supply chain (HCSC) by implementing the concept of Industry 4.0.
Design/methodology/approach
The key factors of implementing Industry 4.0 in HCSC have been identified through extensive literature review and stakeholders' opinions. To achieve the abovementioned objectives, the present study proposed hybrid multi-criteria decision-making (MCDM) tools, namely, the fuzzy-analytic hierarchy process (AHP) and fuzzy- decision-making trial and evaluation laboratory (DEMATEL). The Fuzzy-AHP prioritized the factors of implementing Industry 4.0 in HCSC, while the cause–effect relationships among the factors have been explored using fuzzy-DEMATEL.
Findings
The results of the study indicated that HC logistics management (HCLM) is the most prioritized factor of implementing Industry 4.0 in HCSC, followed by the integrated HCSC, then sustainable HCSC practices, HCSC innovation and technological aspects, HCSC institutional perspectives, HCSC competitiveness, social aspects and economic factors of HCSC. The cause–effect analysis has highlighted integrated HCSC, HCLM, HCSC competitiveness and social aspects as the cause group factors and they are the critical success parameters for implementing Industry 4.0 in the HCSC.
Practical implications
The results of the study can be useful for policymakers, humanitarian organizations, health administrators and other decision makers considering the smartening of HCSC to enhance the operational performance of health facilities.
Originality/value
This is one of the few studies to have been conducted so far in which the subfactors of HCSC implementing Industry 4.0 have been identified and analyzed using the fuzzy-AHP and fuzzy-DEMATEL hybrid approach.
